Timothy C. Tobin

Timothy C. Tobin is the CEO for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, which is currently under construction. Prior to this position, Tobin was CEO of Alleghany Regional Hospital. Tim also served as the chief executive officer at Clinch Valley Medical Center, a 200-bed hospital in Richlands, Virginia. He was also the chief executive officer for Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon, Georgia. Tobin has held other leadership positions with HCA since joining the company in 1985.

Tobin holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He received his bachelor of science degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tobin is a diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

During his time at Clinch Valley Medical Center, he served as President of the Richlands Area Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of Board for One Care of Southwest Virginia; an active member of the Richlands Economic Enhancement Committee, the Richlands Management Team, the Back to Front Revitalization Team; and a volunteer for the Richlands Teen Center. Tim and his wife Sue have two children.
