Tim McManus Joins HCA Virginia as CEO of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals

Richmond, VA, June 25, 2012 – HCA Virginia is happy to welcome Tim McManus, FACHE, as Chief Executive Officer of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals. He is replacing former CEO Peter Marmerstein, FACHE, who was promoted in March to be the Division President of HCA West Florida.
Tim will be sharing his thoughts, insights and experiences on a blog called "Tim's Take." Please feel free to join in on the conversation in this exciting new chapter in the history of Chippenham and Johnston-Willis Hospitals.
McManus received his Bachelor’s Degree in science and psychology from Tulane University and his Master’s of Health Services in health finance and management from Johns Hopkins University, School of Public Health. He and his wife Holly have three young children.
Prior to serving as CEO of Reston Hospital Center, McManus was the CEO of HCA’s Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, Mississippi and as Chief Operating Officer of Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama. He has also served in several executive positions with hospitals in California and Maryland.
