iPad Installation Instructions
Before starting, make sure your iPad is running iOS version 4.2.1 or higher: tap Settings, then General, then About, and check the Version number. If the iOS version is lower than 4.2.1, you will need to update it before proceeding. If the iOS version is compatible, tap the App Store app.
Type Citrix Receiver for iPad into search tool, then tap Search to continue.
Tap INSTALL to continue.
Tap INSTALL APP to begin installing the Citrix Receiver for iPad app
Enter your Apple ID Password, then tap OK.
After the installation completes, tap the Citrix app to continue.
Tap the iPad icon located at the top right to begin configuration.
Tap on the Help icon in the lower left, then tap Manual setup to continue.
Type https://capital.ns.medcity.net into the Address field. Next, type hCare Access into the Description field. Tap on Web Interface, then tap Save to continue.
Enter your User Name and Password, then click Log On (your 3/4 ID will be in the following format: XNV1234). If you see an error message after attempting to log on with your correct 3/4 and password ("The credentials you typed are incorrect. Please try again or contact your help desk or system administrator."), contact the Service Desk at (804) 549-5900 and ask them to give you access.
Once you've logged on, please take a moment to read our new Security Enhancements, then click Continue to begin setting up four Security Questions.
Select and answer four Security Questions (avoid using symbols in any of your answers). If you're not using a public computer, select Yes to have your PC remember your answers. Click Continue to proceed.
Verify that your questions and answers are correct, then click Finish to proceed (Click Update your Settings if you need to correct an answer).
It is not necessary to download the Citrix Client. Click on Already installed to continue.
Your hCare Access Workstation will launch automatically.
